Turn your sources into typeset PDF documents

Add your PDFs, notes, slides, or recordings and pick a document type — cheat sheet, report, case study, rubric, timeline, SOP, flowchart, lesson plan, or outline. Or describe any document in your own words and Scholarly builds it to that shape.

One creator, nine document types — or describe your own
  1. 1

    Pick from nine ready-made shapes

Cheat sheet, report, case study, rubric, timeline, SOP, flowchart, lesson plan, and outline — each built from your sources.

  2. 2

    Or describe anything

A briefing, a checklist, meeting minutes — describe the document you need and the AI builds it to that shape.

  3. 3

    Get a typeset, downloadable PDF

Every document comes out professionally typeset, grounded in your material, and ready to download or share.

How it works

From source to finished document in three steps

One creator replaces separate document tools — add your material once and choose the output at the end.

01

Add your sources

Upload PDFs, slides, notes, websites, or recordings. The document is grounded in your material, not a generic web summary.

02

Choose the document type

Pick one of nine document types in the customize step — or choose "Anything" and describe the document you need in your own words.

03

Download your typeset PDF

The AI writes, structures, and typesets the document as a polished PDF you can download, print, or share.

What you can build

Nine document types, one creator

Every document is built from your own material and typeset to the same quality.

Cheat sheets & outlines

Compress a course or a chapter into a prioritized one-page reference or a clean hierarchical outline.

Reports & case studies

Turn research, readings, or work documents into a structured report or case study with real citations.

Timelines & flowcharts

Lay out events in order or map a process visually — built straight from what your sources say.

SOPs & lesson plans

Document a procedure step by step, or plan a teaching session with objectives, activities, and assessment.

Rubrics

Generate assessment rubrics with clear criteria and levels, grounded in the assignment or standards you provide.

Anything you can describe

A briefing, a checklist, meeting minutes — if you can describe the document, the creator can build it.

Why it matters

Documents grounded in your material, not generic AI text

Most AI writing tools start from a blank prompt and general knowledge. The AI PDF Creator starts from your sources — the slides, PDFs, and recordings you actually work from — so the document reflects your material.

Because every document type shares the same source-grounded pipeline, you add your material once and can build a cheat sheet, a report, and a lesson plan from the same upload without re-explaining anything.

The output is a real typeset PDF — consistent typography, clean structure, ready to print or share — not a wall of chatbot text you still have to format.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What document types can the AI PDF Creator make?

Nine ready-made types: cheat sheet, report, case study, rubric, timeline, SOP, flowchart, lesson plan, and outline. There is also an "Anything" option — describe the document you need, like a briefing or meeting minutes, and the AI builds it to that shape.

Is the AI PDF Creator free?

Scholarly is free to start: the free plan includes one lifetime AI creation, which can be a PDF document. Paid plans lift the creation and upload limits. Current details are always on the pricing page.

Does it use my own material?

Yes. You add PDFs, slides, notes, websites, or recordings first, and the document is written from that material. You can also generate from a described topic if you have no sources.

How is this different from asking a chatbot to write a document?

Three ways: the content is grounded in the sources you add, the structure follows a real document shape rather than chat prose, and the output is a professionally typeset PDF you can download, print, or share immediately.
