Create Your Mind Map

Enter your topic or content below to generate a visual mind map.

Your content is securely processed by Scholarly's advanced AI.

How it works

From a tangled topic to a clear map in three steps

Drop in your topic or notes and let the AI organize everything into branches you can actually study from.

01

Step 1: Add your topic

Enter your topic, paste content, or describe the concepts you want to visualize in a mind map.

02

Step 2: AI Visualizes

Our AI analyzes your content and creates a structured mind map with branches and connections.

03

Step 3: Use & Export

Study with your mind map, copy it, or export in various formats including Mermaid diagrams.

Features

Built for studying, not just doodling

Every map is structured for understanding — clear hierarchy, real connections, and formats you can take anywhere.

Structured hierarchy

The AI breaks your topic into a central idea, main branches, and sub-points so the structure is clear at a glance.

Adjustable depth

Choose 2 to 5 levels of detail — a quick overview for revision or a comprehensive map for deep study.

Real connections

Branches show how ideas relate, helping you see the bigger picture instead of memorizing isolated facts.

Multiple formats

Export as structured text, Markdown, or a Mermaid diagram you can open in any diagram tool — or generate a polished, downloadable PDF mind map inside the Scholarly app.

Study-ready output

Turn any map into flashcards, quizzes, and notes inside Scholarly so visualizing leads straight to recall.

Any topic, any source

Paste lecture notes, a chapter, or just a topic name — or inside Scholarly, build a map from your uploaded PDFs, your library, or connected Google Drive files. One line or ten pages, the AI maps it.

Why it works

Why mind maps make hard topics stick

Mind maps mirror how your brain actually stores information — as connected ideas, not flat lists. Seeing a topic laid out spatially makes relationships obvious and recall faster.

When you map a topic instead of re-reading it, you're forced to identify what matters most and how the pieces fit together. That act of organizing is what builds real understanding.

Scholarly takes it one step further: every map you generate can become flashcards, a quiz, or a study session on the same source — so visualizing your material flows directly into practicing it.
