Existing Team Workspaces
Scholarly continues to support existing Team and Enterprise workspaces with their current members, shared libraries, weekly AI credits, admin controls, and legacy billing.
New self-serve Team subscriptions and public per-seat acquisition are no longer offered. New individual customers choose Free, Premium, or Laureate; see Plans and Limits.
What's supported
Existing workspace members retain the capabilities configured for that workspace:
- Paid Scholarly study and creation features under the workspace's usage policy.
- Premium and eligible frontier AI models selected by workspace admins.
- A weekly AI-credit allowance for each member.
- A shared library through Your team sharing.
- Owner, Admin, and Member roles.
- Billing and invoice management for the existing subscription.
Roles
- Owner — full control, including legacy billing.
- Admin — can invite and remove members, manage available seats, set model access, and manage billing.
- Member — uses the workspace and its shared library without managing billing or settings.
An account can be an active member of only one team at a time.
Managing an existing workspace
Owners and admins manage the workspace from the Team page in the sidebar. From there they can use available seats, invite members, change roles, remove members, choose permitted model tiers, inspect usage, and open the legacy billing portal.
